Animastor
Experimental Beta — currently in development

Animastor

Turn written stories into animated visual books — with audio, scenes, and a player.

What is Animastor?

Animastor is a simple way to bring a text story to life. You give it a book (a plain .txt file), and it turns that text into a sequence of visual scenes with audio — something you can read, listen to, and watch like a short animated film of the story.

You don't need to be a designer, animator, or programmer. Open the app, upload your book, and watch it come alive scene by scene.

How to use Animastor

A simple workflow — five steps from a plain text file to a finished animated book.

  1. Open a book — upload your story as a plain .txt file inside the app.
  2. Generate — Animastor reads the text, splits it into scenes, and creates a visual version of the story.
  3. Listen & Watch — open the result as a visual book with audio: a scene at a time, like flipping through an animated picture book.
  4. Edit & regenerate — change the text, tweak a scene's visual style, or adjust audio. Regenerate only the parts you want to update.
  5. Export — when you are happy with the result, export the finished visual book.

Android

The Android client is experimental beta software, built from the same backend as the web application. It currently tracks the web app with a small feature lag.
